The Basic Turbo Operations Of Any Aftermarket Turbo System
In simple aftermarket turbo system setup it is build around the simple component of turbocharger, manifold, intake piping and blowoff valve,high pressure fuel pump, boost dependent fuel regulator or Fuel Management Unit, intercooler, intake and exhuast upgrade.
In most applications the limitation of the hp can be increase is determine by the size of the injector and the max fuel psi it can operate before it locks up due to the increase fuel pressure. When using the boost dependent fuel regulator, most stock injector operates on around 40psi and in turbo system the amount of fuel increase is porportion to the psi (7psi per lb of boost) example 9psi boost is 9x7=63lb additional fuel needed. In most cases you can safely run 9 psi in stock trim without any major fuel system overhaul. Any fuel pressure over 100psi is not recommended because the risk of injector lockup.

Expect parts to break if it was never design to handle the power in the first place.
Some car are design to handle more power than others. Turbo cars from the factory are better in handling performance upgrade than non turbo cars.
